The Ethereum Foundation (EF), the non-profit organization that supports the world’s leading altcoin, Ethereum, and its technology, has made some key appointments. In an update shared on X, EF named two new co-executive Directors to drive the ecosystem’s core principles. New Leadership at Ethereum Foundation Notably, Ethereum Foundation has appointed Hsaio-Wei Wang, a researcher, and Tomasz Stanczak, Nethermind founder, as the new co-Directors. The duo will oversee the organization’s affairs and replace Aya Miyaguchi, the former EF Executive Director. According to the Ethereum Foundation, the new directors will pilot the affairs and promote the core values that birthed Ethereum’s existence. The foundation maintained that Ethereum is evolving into a robust, permissionless, and censorship-resistant network for global finance. In her reaction to the appointment, Wang, a researcher and community organizer, insisted the core principles of EF would not change. She, however, acknowledged that EF would continue to evolve alongside Ethereum for growth. On his part, Stanczak hinted he would step down from some of his official functions to assume the new role on March 17. He, however, assured that, pending the necessary paperwork, his work will continue uninterrupted. Miyaguchi’s Transition and Community Reactions The former Executive Director, Miyaguchi, had served in the capacity at EF for seven years before her elevation to the position of president. Miyaguchi’s elevation occurred despite criticism of her leadership style and seeming lack of competitiveness. Others also criticized her inability to deliver on Ethereum’s scaling solution. Many in the Ethereum community had rooted for Danny Ryan as the new lead director. Ryan had received 99% of voters’ support at an informal poll. Danny Ryan’s Etherealize Initiative Ryan, a researcher with EF, led the ecosystem’s switch to proof-of-stake . He now returns as co-founder of Etherealize. This is a new “institutional marketing and product division” for the Ethereum ecosystem. Ryan will collaborate with Vivek Raman as co-founder of Etherealize. In an X post, Ryan noted that Ramen would serve as a bridge between the real world and Ethereum while he would function as a link from Ethereum back into the real world. Vitalik Buterin, Ethereum co-founder, congratulated the trio on their new positions. The post Ethereum Foundation Appoints Danny Ryan To Lead ‘Etherealize’ appeared first on TheCoinrise.com .
