Cipher Mining reports June production of 360 bitcoins

Cipher Mining ( NASDAQ: CIFR ) said Wednesday it produced 360 bitcoins ( BTC-USD ) in June, down from 493 in the prior month. The company said it sold 350 BTC in June compared to 513 BTC in May and ended the month with about 417 BTC in its holdings. Cipher said it also executed its first bitcoin futures and options trades during the month. The company added that its Odessa operations continued to expand during June, ending the month with the potential to mine up to 17.1 bitcoins per day and an operating hash rate of 6.7 EH/s. Total number of deployed rigs in June was roughly 65,000, including the 11,000 Canaan rigs that were recently purchased, Cipher said. Press Release .
