Marathon Digital, Brink to raise $1M to support Bitcoin Core developers

Marathon Digital ( NASDAQ: MARA ) said Thursday it partnered with Brink, a fully-donor supported organization, to raise up to $1M to support Bitcoin Core developers to ensure they continue maintaining and strengthening the bitcoin ( BTC-USD ) network. Marathon ( MARA ) committed to match all donations up to $500K through 2023, for a total potential amount of $1M, when combined with third party donations. From May 18-21, Marathon ( MARA ) will match all donations to Brink (up to a $500K maximum donation from the miner) on a two-for-one basis. From May 22 to December 31, Marathon ( MARA ) will match all donations on a one-for-one basis. Earlier, Marathon ( MARA ) Q1 loss narrowed thanks to BTC's rally.
