WonderFi's Bitbuy crypto exchange adds cardano to staking services

Bitbuy, the Canadian cryptocurrency exchange owned by WonderFi Technologies ( OTCQB:WONDF ) ( TSX: WNDR:CA ), on Tuesday added cardano ( ADA-USD ) to its on-chain staking offerings . In addition to ADA, Bitbuy offers staking for ethereum ( ETH-USD ), solana ( SOL-USD ), polygon ( MATIC-USD ) and polkadot ( DOT-USD ), some of the largest digital tokens by market cap. Crypto staking in the process whereby users lock up their crypto balances on Bitbuy to earn crypto rewards. More than 42% of the platform's monthly active users engage in staking. "Being one of only three registered platforms to offer staking, Bitbuy has seen a meteoric rise in investors looking to stake their crypto," said WonderFi President and Interim CEO Dean Skurka. "In just the past two weeks alone we've seen a 15% increase in total Canadian dollars being staked."
