Binance Lists $ACX and $ORCA with Zero-Fee Trading, Signals Futures Delisting

Binance, one of the world's leading cryptocurrency exchanges, has announced the listing of two new tokens, $ACX from Across Protocol and $ORCA from Orca Protocol, effective December 6, 2024. The listing includes the opening of spot trading pairs for both tokens at 13:00 UTC, with zero fees initially applied to encourage trading. Additionally, Binance Futures will introduce USDⓈ-M perpetual contracts for $ACX and $ORCA at 15:00 UTC on the same day. The tokens are tagged with a 'Seed' label, indicating high volatility and risk. Other exchanges like HTX Global are also preparing to list $ACX, with deposits already opened and trading set to commence soon. The market has responded positively to these listings, with $ACX and $ORCA experiencing a surge in value. However, the listing announcement also signals the delisting of futures contracts for tokens like MAVIA, OMG, and BOND, set for December 16, leading to a sharp sell-off in these assets.
