Speaking to Benzinga, Donald Trump's second son Eric Trump stated that his father supports crypto and is trying to position the US as the crypto capital of the world. He also stated that his father was adamant in his intention to include crypto in the US balance sheet and grant it some tax exemptions. Eric Trump also stated that he also invested in cryptocurrencies and that he has altcoins called Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Solana (SOL) and Sui (SUI). Eric Trump stated that he worked with his father in the cryptocurrency field and that decentralized finance (DeFi) is necessary to modernize outdated financial systems. Trump’s son also criticized the SEC under Gary Gensler.
